Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
This policy describes how Vector3 ("we," "us") handles information in connection with this website and the Fortnite Discover Kit, which we produce in partnership with Sulfuric Media. The short version: we collect only what we need to make your assets and get paid, we don't sell your information, and payments never touch our servers.
Information we collect
- Order information. When you buy the kit, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing details and payment method on its hosted checkout page. We never see or store your card number. We receive only your name, email and order confirmation from Stripe.
- Project details. After ordering, you fill out our onboarding form. It asks for your email, Discord username, your island's name and links, creative direction, references, any special items or access we need to film, and the email addresses that should get access to your project's Google Drive folder.
- Island access. If you give us access to an unreleased island or in-game items, we use that access only to capture footage for your project.
- Discord activity. If you join our client Discord, we see your Discord username and the messages and files you share there, such as feedback on drafts.
- Correspondence. If you email us, we keep that correspondence and the contact details you share.
What we don't collect
This website does not set cookies of its own, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and does not require an account. We don't collect data from your Epic Games account beyond the public island information you point us to and any access you choose to give us.
Third-party services
A few services we rely on may process your data under their own privacy policies:
- Stripe processes all payments (Stripe privacy policy).
- Airtable hosts our onboarding form and stores your answers (Airtable privacy policy).
- Discord runs our client server, where we share drafts and deliver files (Discord privacy policy).
- Google Drive is where we share your project folder and final files (Google privacy policy).
- YouTube hosts the example trailer on this site. The embed uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and the video only loads when you hover over or click it. The preview image is loaded from YouTube's servers (Google privacy policy).
- Google Fonts serves this site's typefaces, which means your browser requests font files from Google (Google privacy policy).
How we use your information
- To produce and deliver the assets you ordered
- To communicate about your project, revisions and delivery
- To respond to your questions
- To keep records we're legally required to keep, like payment records
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing emails you didn't ask for.
Sharing
We share your project details with Sulfuric Media, our production partner, only as needed to make your assets. Otherwise, we share information only with the service providers listed above, as needed to run the business, or when the law requires it. Client work we showcase, like trailers and thumbnails, is published with the client's permission.
Retention
We keep order records and project files as long as we need them for business and legal purposes. If you'd like your project files or personal information deleted, email us and we'll take care of it unless we're required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email jake@vectorthree.dev and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA, UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Children's privacy
Our services are for Fortnite island creators and studios and are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're under 18, please involve a parent or guardian in any purchase. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, for example when we add new services or features, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
Questions? Email jake@vectorthree.dev and we'll get back to you quickly.
